The Aura Manuka Honey Mask by Antipodes, my skin saviour this winter

This winter, needless to say that like many of you, my skin has suffered a lot from the cold (of which we have clearly not been used to) and I embarked on a proper quest to find THE mask that was going to save me… Being already totally addicted to my creams and serums from Antipodes (which I’ve used daily for at least 6 months and yes, I’ll tell you all about it real soon!) I naturally turned to them and very quickly felt in love with their Aura mask with Manuka honey.

First off, this mask claims to be a deeply moisturizing, cleansing and anti-oxidizing treatment. The texture to me is somewhere between a cream and a gel, it’s quite light and fluid, very soothing and refreshing so I really like using it in the morning to wake my skin up a bit. The moisture it gives me is simply perfect, I can really see that my skin is rehydrated after each use and even my dry patches are visibly improved after only 15 minutes.

About the cleansing properties, I know I feel a tiny tingle after applying it (nothing agressive though, or else my super sensitive skin wouldn’t tolerate it) and I specifically notice that since using it at least once a week, my pores are visibly tightened and so I do think that it’s very efficient on that as well. As for the anti-oxidizing part, it’s very hard to see a real difference because I live in a very big city therefor my skin is daily damaged by pollution. But I must say that I find my skin much less dull since I use my full Antipodes daily routine so whether it’s this mask or the entire skincare, I’m definitely hooked anyway!

To wrap up this little review I think this mask is an absolute must have for every skin type because to me it’s basically THE mask that does everything and my skin needs it on the regular now. Let me specify that Antipodes is a Cruelty Free brand, certified vegetarian by the UK Vegetarian Society, their products are made with only natural ingredients and most of them are certified Organic, and finally their packaging is 100% biodegradable. You’ll get the gist, this brand has everything we need and this mask is pure wonder in a tube and I can no longer live without it! If you decide to try it, or if you have do let me know what you think and if you have any recommandation on other masks or other products from Antipodes that I should try, please leave a comment so we can share together!
