My Favorite Makeup Brushes, with Real Techniques, E.L.F & Lily Lolo

I recently decided to upgrade my makeup brushes collection by purchasing several new ones (mainly from Real Techniques i admit it) and it actually gave me an the idea to give you a very quick round up of my favorite brushes at the moment.  I have to say i’m not too picky about brushes, all i ask of them is 1-to be synthetic, 2-to be extra super soft. All of the below are both those things of course!

Let’s start with the face shall we? I didn’t select a foundation or concealer brush because i don’t wear foundation often i actually go for a bb cream most days (still using this one from Physician’s Formula that i mention in this previous post), and i prefer to apply it with my hands. For powder though, i adore this pink Real Technique Blush Brush because even though it’s meant to be for blusher, i find that the size is perfect for powdering, plus it’s the softest brush i’ve ever used in my life so i do want my whole face to feel it!

For blush actually i use this super affordable one from E.L.F, the Powder Complexion. I love how fluffy it is and it’s perfect for highly pigmented blusher when you need to have a really light touch. Oh and for the price, let me tell you, i’ve been using and cleaning this one every two or three days for the past 8-9 months and it’s still looking good as new so, don’t hesitate for a second!

Also how adorably cute is that Detailer brush from Real Techniques? It’s the cutest ever and i usually use it for lipstick but it’s also perfect for tiny concealing.

As for the eyes, here are my 3 favorites:

The Deluxe Crease brush from Real Techniques | I adore this one to actually apply one color all over my eyelid, it’s big enough and it’s blending the edges and the crease perfectly. (i got it from this kit, which is the best deal ever i believe!)

The Blending brush from E.L.F | This one is a nice little do it all brush, i can do an entire look with just this one brush, it’s great to apply shadow all over the lid, blend the edges, work on the crease, it’s perfect for everything and again, amazing price for such a great quality!

The Eye Blending brush from Lily Lolo |I love how soft that brush is (yes, always a priority) and how nicely it blends in the crease but the only thing a will say is that you can’t really use it for anything else than blending, i can’t seem to be able to pack an even coat of color on the lid with this one, but hey, it’s perfect for what it’s meant for so i’m happy and i’ll keep using it over and over!

That’s it for today lovelies! I wish you all a beautiful week and see you back here on Wednesday for a new outfit post! 😘
