So you may have noticed that i totally failed to show you the content of my makeup bag last month and that’s really because i barely wore any makeup at all during April. I worked mainly from my couch, didn’t go out much and when i did, i just put on a red lip and called it enough! But this month, the sun is shinning a again (some days) and that totally makes me want to go out a bit more and put on some makeup that make me look healthy, fresh and glowy! So here are my favorite products at the moment to achieve that and basically what i’m wearing every day…
The Super BB #Insta Ready from Physician’s Formula in light || I actually reviewed this awesome BB before (right here) and all i have to say it that i’m still totally loving it, and it has a great SPF 30 that provides a great protection (i always get sunburns on my nose and forehead on the first sunny days of the year and it’s the first time that i didn’t get any thanks to this bb!). I’m not even joking about how much i love this product, it definitely stays in my favorite pile this month again!
Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF 15 in the shade Candy Cane || On the days where i don’t want to wear my bb cream, i really like to use this mineral powder from Lily Lolo as it’s very light but also easily buildable if you want more coverage. It’s also formulated with active antibacterial ingredients (great for acne prone skins) and vegan!
NYX Professional Makeup Concealer Wand in Porcelain || Like i mentioned before, i was really struggling to find a good cruelty free concealer and i have to share with you that i have found a winner with this one from NYX! I’ve been using it for the past 3 weeks or so and it is close to perfection! It doesn’t crease, doesn’t dry out my skin (like the Urban Decay Naked Skin unfortunately did) and stays in place all day even though i wear glasses and usually always have to touch up the bridge of my nose at some point. I’m very very impressed and for 6,90€, hum, what more could you ask for!
E.L.F. Cosmetics Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems || Do not be fooled by this bad boy because when you first swatch it it doesn’t pick up anything at all, you actually need to almost scratch the entire surface to get a nice pigmentation and be able to pick up some product every time and when you do, you’re happy you fought for it! This color for my fair skin is absolutely gorgeous it’s very light and easy to blend and even though it shows up, it’s not the “in your face” kinda highlight, you know? I’m totally loving it and oh, it’s only 4$ (3,72€) on iHerb, what more can you ask for?!
E.L.F. Cosmetics, Matte Lip Color in Rich Red || Now speaking of tiny prices, this one is only 3$ (2,79€) on iHerb, and because i’ve already gave you a review on it last week (right this way) i’m just gonna say it’s the best formula ever, it last all.day.long and doesn’t dry the crap out of my lips, at the price, i’m gonna order all the shades! 😉 Also when i want to have a bit of shine and a glossy finish, i simply add this delicious lip oil from Kiko (not available anymore) or this gloss from Alba Botanica that taste of Passion Fruit, my absolute favorite!
Sleek Makeup Blush in Rose Gold || To be honest a hesitate for a while before purchasing this blush because in the photo on the website, it looked like it might be a bit too dark for me. But i was very thrilled to see that when using a light touch and blending nicely, i can get the instant healthy glow look that i’m looking for. This sort of peachy/pink color is perfect for my skin tone and the golden shimmer gives me all the glow i need to look at my best under the sunshine!
Also i didn’t feature them in the photos because i don’t wear them every day but whenever i want to add a bit of warmth to my face i still use the amazing Butter Bronzer in Light from Physician’s Formula and for mascara i use their Organic Wear, Jumbo Lash Mascara these days and it is also still a winner! I think i definitely have a major thing for PF’s products, do you also like this brand? What can you recommend me to try from them?
