My morning skincare routine | Spring 2017

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, i’m really glad to see you here to start a new week together! Today i wanted to share with you my current morning skin and bodycare and routine. I’ve been using all of these products together for at least 3-4 weeks now and my skin feels quite nice and fresh these days so i thought it was time that we talked about them…

REN – Micro Polish Cleanser | I told you about how much i love that cleanser in this previous post and i still stand by that review 100%. I still don’t use it every day but whenever i feel like my skin needs a little pick me up, it does the job really well and i immediately feel like i have a much brighter and awakened skin!

Pixi Beauty – Vitamine Wakeup Mist | Now speaking of awakening your skin, if that’s what you’re looking for then this mist is for you! Since i have sensitive skin, i normally try to keep my routine as minimal as possible so i’m usually not into these types of products that are not meant to do something specifically important for my skin. But this one i really feel like my skin is a bit brighter and less dull when i use it, like i can actually see a small difference (and that’s rare let’s face it!). It’s also very gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin in any way so that is definitely a keeper and that citrus scent is going to be perfection in a bottle for the Summer! The Body Shop – Almond milk & honey body butter | I really love The Body Shop’s body butter, have been loving them for year and probably will keep using them forever. This one is probably my very favorite ever because i just adore how it smells and the texture is perfect for me: creamy, but not sticky and it is definitely hydrating. Some of their butters smell very nice but are not the most hydrating, this one really is. I use it every morning after shower on my arms and legs.

Avril – Eye contour cream | First of all i do love this brand for major reasons: It’s made in France, 100% organic, cruelty free and crazy super affordable. I think that for the price (7€ for 40ml!), this eye cream is great. It does what i want it to do which is hydrate without causing irritation, and that’s it. I don’t really care (for now at least!) about acting on my wrinkles or firming my skin, i just want this delicate part of my face to be hydrated and it does that very very well.REN – Ultra Moisture Day Cream | Now that is the big change for me because i spent the last year being in total love with my Antipodes cream and making the change wasn’t easy. I had my heart set on this REN hydrating cream for a while now and i don’t regret my choice for a second. It’s a lot less “oily” than my Antipodes one so much better for the hotter days. My skin feels very comfortable and definitely plumped up so i highly recommend it if you have dry skin and looking for a light comfortable day cream, that one is a winner!

What are your favorite products these day friends? Any new things in your routine?

The wakeup mist sounds like something I’d love! I love Pixi’s products, but didn’t know that existed. Thanks for sharing.
