I already mentioned my passion for Netflix and because i know i’m not the only one out there, i wanted to share with you what is currently on my watch list!
The Crown || The Crown tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world – Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street – and the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. Two houses, two courts, one Crown… Who else loves a good historic tv show?!
3% || A thriller set in a world sharply divided between progress and devastation, where people are given the chance to make it to the “better side” but only 3% of the candidates succeed. I’m a big fan of anticipations movies and tv shows like Snowpiercer or Children of Men so that new show has definitely caught my attention in the best way!
13 Reasons Why || After a teenage girl’s perplexing suicide, a classmate receives a series of tapes that unravel the mystery of her tragic choice. That show has received many wonderful reviews all around the world and i must say i’m extremely curious to discover how they managed to talk about such a sensitive and tragic issue that is teenager’s suicide.
Designated Survivor || Tom Kirkman, a low-level cabinet member is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack during the State of the Union kills everyone above him in the Presidential line of succession. Political-thriller are just one of my passions and i already love the originality of the starting point!
Besides the tv shows, what i love the most about Netflix is their enormous choice of documentaries. Their have a lot of programs on various subject and i personally always find something interesting to watch! Here are those my watch list at the moment:
Minimalism || How might your life be better with less? MINIMALISM: A Documentary About the Important Things, a feature-length documentary from the popular simple-living duo The Minimalists, examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from various walks of life.
Pet Fooled || An investigative expose of the inner workings inside the commercial pet food industry, which has went largely unchallenged until now.
A Plastic Ocean || A documentary focused on plastic pollution in the world’s oceans and the consequences and the whole environment.
Amanda Knox || This gripping, atmospheric documentary recounts the infamous trial, conviction and eventual acquittal of Seattle native Amanda Knox for the 2007 murder of a British exchange student in Italy.
Dictateur: un boulot de dingue || (french documentary) This movie analyses how dictators gain power, abuse it and flourished on it, noting similar obsessions between Hitler, Idi Amin Dada, etc.
What about you friends, what’s in your Netflix to watch list these days?! Any recommandations?! Please share them in the comments!
