My cozy night in essentials

So i guess it’s “home stuff” week on the blog because today (as kind of a follow up on my latest post on being a homebody), i thought i’d share with you my cozy night in essentials aka all the things i enjoy when i’m having a cozy night in, at home.  Quite frankly though, it could easily be every night for me but with the amount of work i have these days, i usually work at night or try to watch a movie with the mister right after dinner and then rush to bed to finally sleep off the day! So right now, going through my favorite cozy night in essentials is exactly what i need, and i hope it will inspire you as well…A Warm Beverage |  You know me by now, need i say anything here? Haha! There is something really comforting about drinking something warm and even though i also often enjoy having a light beer or a cheeky little glass of wine at the end of a long day, i have to admit that a hot chocolate or a sweet infusion is my absolute favorite to get cozy.

Some Fairy Lights | I love the cosiness and warmth of pretty fairy lights all over the apartment. It really gives a very soft and cozy atmosphere, perfect to relax and watch movies!

Lots of Cosy Blankets & Pillows | It’s basically the key to comfort when it’s cold out right? I actually don’t need to wait for the cold seasons, i wrap myself in blankets all year round, even when it’s 30 degrees out. It’s weird i guess but i can’t help it and i love it! I’m queen comfort didn’t you know?!

My Cats | Again, it might sound weird, but my cats make me feel super cozy and comfy. I mean they are literally balls of fur, love and affection so can you really think of a more cozy thing, than spending an entire movie with a Yoda on your lap, purring the whole time?! I simply can’t live without them in my life and that’s honestly one of the many reasons!

A Movie or TV Show | I have very eclectic taste in general but whenever i decide to have a cozy night, i choose more specific things to watch. My absolute favorites for that kinda night are historical inspired thriller or drama like the show Downton Abbey, Alfred Hitchcock movies and also Agatha Christie’s inspired TV movies. Oh and if you’re French, i strongly recommend the TV show Capitaine Marleau. She is one of the best female character i’ve seen in my life and she’s super funny!

So tell me friends, are you having a little cozy night in tonight?! Also let me know in the comments what are your essentials! 🖤
